USB 2 Powered Laptop Speakers
Check out these Buffalo ,relatively flat clip on USB powered speakers. Unfortunately they seem to be only 0.5 watts each so how much better can they over your laptop’s own speakers?
An unimpressive 200hz to 12khz range gets its’ input from a 3.5mm stereo jack.
The problem with current portable external laptop speakers are the heft of extra batteries required to power them. This solves that problem but probably sacrifices sound for portability. You win one, you lose one.
